Swimmers: See Woman

So often in Western art, the female image is portrayed as an object of male desire. 
But what if she's more than that? 
What if she is the one who desires? 
And what if what she desires most is to be the hero of her own story; a creature who enjoys the sensual experience of being one with nature, immersed in water as she was in the beginning?
The image of female swimmers or sea women is how I see women as intimately connected to themselves. And to water.
